16 Mortimer Street

This project at 16 Mortimer Street involved a full strip-out and significant property refurbishment and structural upgrade to deliver a high-specification modern finish. The works commenced with extensive demolition and structural alterations. Notably, the team installed supporting steelwork to facilitate the reconfiguration of the masonry structure and lift shaft.

Furthermore, key architectural enhancements included the formation of an extended fifth floor with a widened link extension and the installation of new curtain walling to the front and side elevations. A comprehensive CAT A fit-out followed this phase. This featured a total renewal of the mechanical and electrical installations.

Consequently, the project included a full reconfiguration of the bathrooms and reception area. This was completed alongside a full fit-out of all internal finishes. The team also modernised the vertical transportation with a new lift car installation within the existing shaft.

Additionally, we delivered high-quality kitchens, bathrooms, and new floor and wall finishes throughout. We also installed new fire doors, ceilings, and fire-stopping measures. The building’s envelope was substantially upgraded with new external doors and a mixture of new windows across the property.

Finally, the exterior works included the application of new roof coverings. As a result, the works at 16 Mortimer Street ensure the building is now fully weather-tight and aesthetically refreshed.
